Early spring is the time preceding the fishing season, when we can devote our free time to activities protecting the fish populations of our rivers. One of the most interesting projects are brown trout eggs incubators carried out by local enthusiasts, including employees of the Polish Angling Association and Tatra Fly Fishing guides. On one of the tributaries of the Czarny Dunajec river in Chochołów village, there are 3 such incubators in which over 5,000 fish eggs are planted each year in March. The construction of the incubators ensures the flow of water through the gravel as close as possible to that found in natural spawning grounds so that the conditions of the last incubation phase are as good as possible. Thanks to such an unconventional method of restocking, we get a herd of adult and wild trouts after a few years. During the guided trip to the Czarny Dunajec river, we offer a visit to the stream with incubators and a nature lecture.
