Dunajec river beginning takes place in Nowy Targ from the connection of two rivers – Bialy (white) Dunajec and Czarny (black) Dunajec. Upper part of Dunajec is between this place and the estuary in a Czorsztyn dam lake. In upper Dunajec you can catch more various fish species than in Bialy and Czarny Dunajec where trouts and graylings dominate. In the upper Dunajec besides trout and grayling you can also catch barbel, chub, nase (sneep) and the dream of fishermans called ,,queen of Dunajec”- huchen. The nature of the river gives huge opportunities to try every fly fishing method.
